Website Wednesdays: WordPress Security

What would you do if your website was hacked?

Here at Flax Digital we regularly review client sites for security issues and have helped a number of businesses deal with everything from malware warnings to complete takeovers of their sites. A well configured and maintained website can resist almost anything, and recover easily from the rest. But how can you be sure your site is set up this way?

Join our website security workshop

In July’s Website Wednesday workshop, we’ll talk about:

  • What do hackers want? (It’s not what you think!)
  • What mechanisms do they use to break into your website?
  • The risks to your data, reputation, and business.
  • How can you best prevent attacks?
  • How can you repair the damage if they do get in?

As WordPress developers, we take website security very seriously and make sure all our clients’ websites are safe and sound on our maintenance plans, but if you’re maintaining your own websites, this workshop will give you what you need to keep your business safe. Our presenter, Alex, has 20+ years’ industry experience and deep knowledge of website security. You’ll leave our workshop with both a deep understanding of the “why,” and actionable tips for “how.” Although WordPress is our specialty, most of the content will be applicable across all website platforms.

Join us over lunch, and get a handle on how to best protect your website.
